Dr. William Eickhoff, Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Eickhoff has received the highest level of training in both Chiropractic and Nutrition Response Testing to ensure that he is well equipped to handle any problem in both of these fields. He uses extreme low force techniques that get the best results!

Serving the Clifton, New Jersey area for 40 years, Dr. Eickhoff has helped over 10,000 patients. He continues to serve the community with technologies and wellness services for patients to lead healthier and happier lives!

Dr. Eickhoff takes pride in giving patients the best education possible before making a decision regarding their health. With that, he makes sure that all of his patients are fully educated on treatment and how it can help them as he believes that an educated decision is the best decision.

Dr. Eickhoff consults patients in creating efficient nutritional and fundamental lifestyle changes that will not only treat the symptoms of pain but eradicate them for good. His goal is to get you well and keep you there!

Dr. Kayla Aversa

Since she was a young girl, Doctor Kayla Aversa always had a passion for wanting to help people. Her whole life she has stayed active in sports and is big advocate on working out.

Doctor Kayla has earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Later, she went on to earn her Doctorate of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College in 2014, in Seneca Falls, NY.

Doctor Kayla enjoys teaching patients the importance of exercise, nutrition, and functional movement. She is an advance proficiency rated activator doctor with other certifications in Functional Taping for Musculoskeletal Injuries (FTMI) and Nutrition Response Testing (NRT).

In her free time, Dr. Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, friends and being in the gym.

Dr. Yarissa Rodriguez, DC, MPH, CPH

Dr. Rodriguez was born and raised in Passaic, NJ. In high school, she was a competitive athlete excelling in cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field. After High school, Dr. Rodriguez went on to earn a Bachelors of Science concentrating in both exercise physiology and nutrition from William Paterson University of NJ. Following graduation, Dr. Rodriguez was accepted into New York Chiropractic College where she pursued her Doctorate.

Wanting to expand her knowledge of health and broaden her scope, Dr. Rodriguez enrolled and later graduated from Brooklyn College where she earned her Masters of Public Health concentrating in health policy and administration. She went on to earn additional certificates in kinesiotaping, functional movement, and Activator Methods proficient.

Aside from chiropractic practice, Dr. Rodriguez is a college instructor of Health Administration at Berkeley College (Woodland Park, NJ). She is also a mother to 2 young children and enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Dr. Rodriguez has a passion for health and education and believes educating a patient is key to optimizing health.

Brianna Prior, D.C., B.S., B.A.

Dr. Prior is a New Jersey native. She attended Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, where in 2002 she received a Bachelor of Arts in Cultures, Society, & Human Health – an interdisciplinary major she created to encompass her coursework in Spanish language and culture, women’s studies, and biology. She went on to attend Logan College of Chiropractic in Missouri, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 2004 and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2006.

Since graduating, Dr. Prior has pursued her passion in prenatal, perinatal, and pediatric chiropractic care by taking part in a 180-hour program through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) which provides focused training in these special interests. Dr. Prior has also pursued another of her passions as a science instructor for six years at Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in Hoboken. There she developed and taught courses in anatomy, physiology, pathology, musculoskeletal anatomy & physiology, neurology, and CPR/First Aid. She received several honors during her time at Cortiva, including recognition as Instructor of the Spring Term 2011 and delivery of the key note address at commencement.

Rose Marie Eickhoff, Case Manager and Office Manager

Rose Marie Eickhoff is the case manager and office manager for the past 20 years at The Natural Health Center. Her passion is to help people improve their health and change their life for the better. She does through education and caring and listening to each patient.

Rose Marie loves spending time with her family. Especially her grandson Chase. Chase sometimes visits the office and can be seen playing ball with the staff up and down the hallways.

She also enjoys shopping and dining out.

Layla Abuhamdah, Massage Therapist

Layla Abuhamdah studied at Fortis Institute in Wayne, NJ. Layla graduated with a 3.9 GPA and received a massage certification which provided her with a therapy license. She has been a therapist for over 2 years. She has worked for wellness centers and chiropractic offices over those 2 years. She has finally found what she loves to do and with each passing day, she has learned more about being a massage therapist.

Layla is passionate about helping patients. She specializes in trigger point therapy. She works at the Natural Health Center where as a team, we make our patients happy, smiling and leaving the office feeling better and great about themselves.

Layla spends time with her family and friends. She’s also very down to earth.

Dr. Mark Smiley

Mark Smiley is a board-certified acupuncturist who has been in practice since 1995. His specialty is Japanese Acupuncture and Trigger Point Therapy. He has training in nutrition, vitamin supplementation, diet and exercise. His goal is to treat the cause rather than the symptom.

He graduated from the Tristate Institute of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in 1995, has a BS from Queens College, a Masters in IT System Design from NYU and is a certified IMX Pilates instructor. He also was a clinic supervisor at The Eastern School of Acupuncture.


Nahary is the curly haired girl that’s always running around the Natural Health Center of Clifton. She is the administrative assistant whose primary goal is to help every doctor on staff and help patients experience the best care possible. Nahary started working at the Natural Health Center of Clifton as a Front Desk Receptionist in 2017, and quickly moved up to becoming an administrative assistant.

Nahary received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University- Newark in May 2019, but her education won’t stop there. Working at the Natural Health Center of Clifton and always having the goal to help others has motivated Nahary to pursue a Licensed Chiropractic Assistant certification at New York Chiropractic College. Throughout her high school years, Nahary played volleyball and golf. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Nahary also enjoys traveling to different countries during the summer time.
